Guide to Posting Your Advert
August 25, 2025 Uncategorized Write a clear title and description
Your advert should start with a precise title that tells people exactly what you are offering. Keep the description short but detailed enough to explain the key features. Always be truthful and avoid adding anything misleading.
2. Use original and high-quality photos (1200 x 800 px).
Upload unique images taken by you. Do not copy pictures from the internet or add watermarks, logos, or contact details to them. Clear and real photos build trust and attract more buyers.
3. Choose the correct category
Selecting the right category helps your advert or products reach the right audience. Pay close attention to it. Products in the wrong category may be rejected.
4. Set fair and realistic prices
Make sure the price of your item or service matches the real market value of similar products. Unrealistic pricing can make buyers lose interest or doubt the advert’s authenticity.
5. Provide accurate contact details
Share the correct phone number or email address so buyers can reach you easily. Be responsive by answering calls or returning missed calls as quickly as possible. Prompt replies increase your chances of closing a deal.
6. Advertise only within Nigeria
All items and services must be located in Nigeria. This ensures that buyers know exactly where to find what they are looking for.
7. Only post legal products and services
Make sure the item or service you are advertising is legally permitted. If you are unsure, check the list of prohibited items before posting to avoid rejection.
8. One advert, one item
Each advert should focus on a single item or service. If you want to sell multiple items, create separate adverts for each one. This makes your listings clear and easy for buyers to find
9. Avoid duplicate adverts
Do not post the same advert/products more than once. Duplication are considered spam and may be removed. Always create fresh and unique content for every new listing.
